Recover your CW 650-700-800
Recover your CW 650-700-800 from serial number error.
If you loaded a later bin than 193 without loading 193 first your unit is messed up.
193 is a must load bin file..
If your unit is..
locked..
Scrolling screen..
No menu functions..
No green light..
Or just not doing right..
Do this, following every step to the letter...
Download the 193 bin & instructions, download the latest bin. Put both bins & the correct loader for your unit in a folder.
Get the serial cable that came with your box, connect to the unit & the pc...
Turn off the unit via the rear switch > Press & hold the front power button on the unit > turn on unit from the back > when you see BOOT in the display window, release the front power button. The word boot has to stay in the display.
Load the 193 bin, follow directions for entering the serial number... After the unit reboots itself & your sure it's done.
Load the latest bin file > reset all settings > enable the patch > rescan all sats > give it time to roll...
